Based in Brussels, Maëlan Delambre creates objects, furniture and interiors for private clients as well as brands.
Born in Burgundy in 1987, he started to produce prototypes from an early age in the family business’ workshop, developing a particular interest in materiality and craftmanship with attention to details.
Having obtained a master degree in graphic design, he opened his own design office and workshop in 2010 as a laboratory for experimentation and production. The objects and furniture, mainly home produced, function as signs wanting to incite a reflexion about their history, form, or the specific context in which they evolve. Besides object design and production, his practice also includes residential interior design, retail interior design and the conversion of industrial spaces.
